Franklin Falls | Engagement Session
We were meeting Karli and Leo in a Starbucks and talking wedding. The topic of engagement sessions came up…. Meg, Karli and Leo, saw my face kind of light up and had to know what I was thinking. I knew if I said it, we would do it and it would be a big commitment:-). Okay, I’ll say it, ‘What about Franklin Falls’? I showed them the photos of the frozen falls & icicles and the decision was made! It was a true team effort getting our gear and their change of close up to the falls. Meg and I were totally game for a 2 mile round trip hike (or 9 miles as it turned out, what?). But to get up to the falls and see the incredible ice, falls and snow covered stream? So worth it! It was unbelievable! It was truly, the perfect, PNW Winter spot! Karli and Leo, you two were incredible and a blast to hang out with! We can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!
Of course, if you or someone you know is newly or nearly engaged. Let them know about us (Evantide)! We’d love to see if we could be a great fit for their big day! Enjoy!!

Sara and Tim | Winter Suncadia Wedding | Evantide Photography
It all started at Bob’s! I remember hearing Sara and Tim share their story over beer and ciders as they bounced back and forth telling us how they met, and laughing so hard that it was in the most normal spot and yet so wonderful!! He saw her through the window and had to meet her. End of story! Fast forward to their winter Suncadia wedding – between rain and a snowy morning after – Sara and Tim invited their families and closest friends to celebrate their vows. It was the perfect blend of destination and intimate PNW! Guests were able to mentally check out of their busy lives and enter into mountain time – to relax and enjoy the greenery!
Thank you Sara and Tim – we were absolutely honored to capture your wedding!!
